How to Measure Drape Height (Drop)
Height is the vertical drop from your track mount point to where the drape ends. Each length style has its own measurement rule.
HEIGHT
Starting point: the track mount
Height is always measured from the track mount position — the point where the top of your track/carrier will sit. This is different from the top of the window frame. Measure from your intended mount position downward.
Maximum height limits
SheerUp to 118 inches (≈9'10")
TranslucidUp to 110 inches (≈9'2")
BlackoutUp to 110 inches (≈9'2")

Length styles
🏠 Floor-length (most popular): Measure from track mount to floor. Subtract 1/2 inch to prevent dragging. Example: if ceiling to floor is 96", order 95.5".
🛁 Pool/puddle length: Measure to the floor and add 2–4 inches for a deliberate puddled effect. Dramatic but requires more fabric.
🪟 Sill-length: Measure from track mount to the window sill, then add 1/2 inch below the sill for a clean visual break.
📐 Custom length: Measure to exactly where you want the bottom of the panel to hang. No adjustment needed.
Tips for accuracy
✓
Measure from the exact mount point — not the window frame top, not the ceiling
✓
For floor-length, measure at multiple points — floors are rarely perfectly level
✓
If measurements vary across the floor, use the shortest measurement to prevent dragging
✓
Record to the nearest 1/8 inch
