How to Install Your RippleFold Drapes

RippleFold drapes are designed for easy DIY installation. Follow this guide to get a professional-looking result every time.

⚠️
Track not included. Your drapes require a RippleFold-compatible track/rail system, purchased separately. Install the track first, then hang the drapes following this guide.
1

🔧 Gather Your Tools

You'll need: drill with appropriate bits, level, pencil, measuring tape, wall anchors or stud finder, and screwdriver. A helper for large panels is recommended.

2

📐 Mark Your Track Position

Using your measurements and a level, mark the wall or ceiling where the track brackets will be mounted. Ensure marks are perfectly level — this is critical for straight-hanging drapes.

💡 Mark bracket positions every 12–18 inches along the track for proper support, especially for wide panels.
3

🪛 Install the Track Brackets

Drill pilot holes, insert anchors (if not mounting into studs), and secure each bracket with screws. Verify level again after installing the first and last brackets.

⚠️
Use appropriate anchors for your wall type (drywall, concrete, plaster). Incorrect anchors are the most common cause of falling drapes.
4

🛤 Snap the Track into Brackets

Following your track manufacturer's instructions, snap or screw the RippleFold track into the mounted brackets. Verify the track is level and secure at all bracket points.

5

🪟 Insert Carriers and Hang Panels

Insert the ripplefold carriers into the track from one end. Attach each glider hook to the sewn-in tape at equal intervals along the top of your drape panel. Ensure the wave pattern is uniform before closing the end stop.

💡 Carriers should be evenly spaced. Uneven spacing creates an irregular wave pattern. Space carriers every 3–4 inches for standard ripple.
6

✅ Final Adjustment

Open and close the drape fully to check the wave is uniform and the panel glides smoothly. Adjust carrier spacing if needed. Check that the panel hangs level and reaches your desired endpoint.
